Cheesecake Factory & Barnes and Noble (Twice)

Hey everyone,

I hope your Friday is fantastic.

For “Lifestyle” posts, I wanted to document when I go to places for the first time or document unique experiences. I’ve been to these two places before, but I was able to catch up with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while so it made it more special.

Cheesecake factory was delicious as usual. We had the eggroll sampler for an appetizer, which contained 2 Avocado, 2 Tex Mex, 2 Cheeseburger, and 2 Chicken Taquitos for the eggrolls.

I have to confess…I never really ate Avocado before. The thought of eating it back then scared me since I grew up a picky eater, but I’m trying to eat somewhat better and try new things. It was good and the others were as well.

For an entrée, I had the Chicken Parmesan (Pizza Style). It was delicious, but I couldn’t eat much because of the appetizer, bread, and thought of eating cheesecake later. The chicken parm was a big piece that resembled a pizza, the cheese and sauce covered it, and angel hair pasta was on top, kind of resembling putting whip cream on a sundae style wise.

Lastly, I ordered the Lemon Meringue cheesecake. I ate it when I got home, and it was a delight with every bite. Even though I want to eat better, I feel like it’s a sin not to order cheesecake there.

There was an older lady sitting next to us, and it was her birthday today. Many of the staff members showed her birthday love, and took a big group picture. We assumed she was a regular customer with the amount of adoration, and it was sweet (like my cheesecake).

After that, we went to Barnes and Noble, and if you don’t know this about me, it’s one of my favorite places. I love to write, I love books, I love Starbucks, can I meet my true love at Barnes and Noble?

The ambiance of Barnes and Nobles makes me happy. I’ve never seen a negative experience whenever I’ve been here, it’s like my snow globe place.

Everything stays perfectly in a snow globe, and it’s this perfect little world that never has to face whatever is going on outside.

I almost didn’t buy anything, but something caught my eye. I probably didn’t need it, but I’m going to try to get some use out of it. It is a personal library kit!

Over the years, I’ve had friends borrow things from me, and it’s common not to get everything back that you lend out. This kit has return date slips, loaned to logs, a stamp with pad, and a pencil. I’m going to use it for more than lending out books, but pretty much anything to keep better track of everything I lend out.

I know, it sounds pretty extra, but I like to do weird, cute things like this. I’m a unique soul.

I am back at Barnes and Nobles with another friend, writing this post, and I could probably live inside of a Barnes and Nobles.

I’m happy to catch up with friends, and I’m trying to reconnect with as many as I can slowly. Life is too short not to see the ones you love, and I hope all of you out there are using your time to the fullest and creating new memories.

Have a good night!

  1. I love the Cheesecake Factory. I get their chicken from their. That dessert looks yummy. This entire post with the picture made me hungry. I loved how described the older lady and then compared the two with the word “sweet”. That was a good one . I love your writing. You are very detailed.
